Fall Birthday.. A brayer approach

I am on a roll...another stamp set used - ca ching, that's 10 so far. This one is from Inkadinkado, and it's called "Fall Season", and this is the most posting I 've ever managed in one month!

I used Ranger Glossy paper, brayered 3 colours of SU ink, and then stamped the tree.

All of the leaves- fiddly - were then attached. The sentiment is from "Watercolor Trio", and i've used it lots 'o' times!

Mojo 154: Round or Square?

Round of course!

Note to self: when you use a nestie to create a round card, try to arrange the scallops so that the card sits straighter! lol

This is a crafty secrets stamp that I have never used before, so I'm up to nine stamp sets inked up!

And, this mojo is rocking on a MONDAY! two weeks in a row! Of course, next week it is back to school, so I'm sure to be posting on Sunday, right before the deadline!

This is the first time I've tried some vintage 'new to me' binding tape. I love the bows I've been seeing around the web, and picked up some today at a second hand store - 50% off today, so I got nine packages of ribbon, lace & bias tape, all kinds of colours, all different lengths, for $9. Each pack contained at least two spools of 'finds'.

The cs is Bazzill & SU Whisper White, Memento & copic, and a button from my stash. Punches were Fiskars & EK Success, and of course, my cuttlebug.

House Mouse for the Holidays

I had these images from a swap and decided to use them. They are for a HM Holiday swap.
The pp is MME, bazzill cs, ribbon from my stash, and coloured with my prismacolor pencils.

Clean and Simple - Christmas

These are for a swap at ISC - Clean and Simple Christmas.

I don't usually craft like this, I like lots of layers, but I am very happy with how they turned out.

I used another stamp set for my challenge - 8 Sets so far! This is an SU set.

I used my Tattered Angels screen in my Big Shot to emboss, and Zing embossing powder on the reindeer.

Asian Inspired Iris Fold

The sketch challenge over at ISC can be seen here
Hope that works;(
The iris fold was accomplished with my nesties oval, and I used metallic ribbon instead of paper.
I was able to use another un-inked stamp set, this time from Inkadinkado "Asian Characters". So, the tally is seven ink sets now used! The kanji stamp is from Prairie Rubber stamp, and I've used it before.
I coloured the image with my copics, after stamping with Memento ink, and the flowers are confetti from the $ store.
thanks for looking!

Butterfly Collage & Stamp Challenge

I'm on a roll here,folks!
The 4x4 chipboard collage is for the designer's lottery over at ISC, and features another un-inked stamp set, this time from Inkadinkado called Morphic Bugs, and ephemera from my stash.
The card is scraplifted from the current SU catalogue, from the front cover, and features two stamp sets, "Sense of Time", and "Elements of Style" which I've never used before. I also used two stamps from "Notably Ornate", so I am up to a grand total of six stamp sets for my challenge.
Details from the card include gold stickles on the frame, and crackle accents on the small clock face. The ink is Ranger and Versafine black.
thanks for stopping by!

Mojo Monday...on a MONDAY!

Imagine that, I finished a MojoMonday sketch on a Monday!

This is for a weekly challenge at ISC to use only flat stickers from our stash! When I started scrapping, I went nutso crazy buying stickers - surprise, I know, and when I look back at old scrapbooks, and cards, that was the only technique I had - the artful arrangement of stickers! So now, to go back to stickers is funny.

These are some baby stickers I had, I don't even know the manufacturer, and DCWV cs. The ribbon is from my stash. I used my cuttlebug nesties and the textile folder. Of course, the sketch is MOJO.

So, even though this does not count towards my self imposed stamp challenge, I'm glad I used up some stickers, and I think the card turned out pretty well!

Confessions of a Stamp-a-holic

My stamp collection has reached monstrous proportions; and yet, every day, I see new stamp sets that I want to own!
Well enough!
I am making a vow here today that I cannot, must not, will not purchase another stamp set, until all my stamp sets have seen ink!
There, I said it! I WILL NOT BUY ANY MORE STAMPS!!!!
Unless someone is willing to GIVE me stamps, I am not going to spend any more money on stamps until I have made at least one card with each and every stamp set I currently own.
How long will it take me? I don't know!!!
I think that if I use 2 stamp sets a week, it is going to be at least a year before I can buy new stamps. There, I said it...I have at least one hundred stamp sets that I can use before repeating any sets! OMG, I should be ashamed of myself.
So here are two stamp sets that have never been inked - until now - A Hampton Art clear stamp set, and an SU 'Herb Expressions' stamp set. I have used the two Verve stamp sets before, so they don't count!
I followed the Verve blog contest - too late to enter! - and the latest Mojo Monday sketch. All the paper is BG, and the cs is from my stash. Which of course, I am not going to supplement either!
The only item I am allowed to purchase is:
adhesive
wish me luck!

Eastern Influences

I was inspired today to complete three cards, all based in MojoMonday Sketch 151, and all before Sunday - whew!
The top card used DCWV "Taj Mahal" pp, and a stamp that I purchased off ebay, so I'm not quite sure of the manufacturer. The jewel is from Prima.
The other two geisha cards feature DCWV "Far East" pp, and Core'dinations cs. The embossing is with some new Cuttlebug Asian folders. The sentiments are DCWV chipboard.
I used Memento ink, and my copic markers to colour the image.
Thanks for stopping by.

Mojo Monday 150

A Baby Card for a friend
A friend of mine just had a baby - his name? Archer! Isn't that adorable?
I followed the MojoMonday Sketch, and used my new Cosmo Cricket Earth Love paper.
The stamp is from Prairie Rubber Stamps. the ink is Ranger Distress, and I used my MS punch, and my cuttlebug.
thanks!
